Could some expert please explain the working principle and usage of two-stage pumps, as well as the usage and working principle of these flushing oils shown in the photos?
Is this an AY two-stage oil pump? What operating medium?
What medium is it on? Whose is the seal?
Is this sealing system PLAN23+PLAN53A?

It’s from Sulzer; there are six of them in total, ranging from light-duty to medium-duty to heavy-duty models – they are all high-temperature pumps. I just want to know how the flushing oil works
It is not visible from the diagram where the connection to the heat exchanger is located. If it is connected to the pump outlet or the outlet of the first impeller, then it is the PLAN21 scheme: the fluid passes through an orifice plate at the outlet and enters the heat exchanger; after being cooled, it is sent to the sealing chamber to flush the first seal. If the subsequent sealed storage tank is connected to nitrogen, it is PLAN53A; if it is connected to a flare line, it is PLAN52. The isolation/buffer fluid in the tank is filled to the normal level indicated by the level gauge. There is a pumping ring inside the seal, and circulation is established through this pumping ring along with the thermosiphon effect. 53A is under pressure; if the first seal fails, the isolation fluid will enter the pump and the liquid level will drop. 52 is pressure-free; if the first seal fails, the medium will enter the storage tank, causing the level of the buffer liquid inside the tank to rise as well as the pressure.
It feels like 21+52. The key is to check whether there is pressure in the nitrogen tank and whether there is a nitrogen pipeline
