On regular production positions, it’s acceptable if it’s not designed that way, but when such problems occur and it’s not clear what’s going on, then it seems inappropriate. For example, compare one by one the parameters such as the medium for operation, operating temperature, pressure, flow rate, power, and net positive suction head specified on the pump’s label or in the equipment’s operating instructions. If all requirements are met, then check the quality of installation and maintenance, including levelness, coupling alignment, parallelism, and whether the locking preload of the foundation bolts is appropriate. Whether these factors exist. Additionally, which part the failure rate refers to can perhaps be clarified by disassembling it.
