Coal-to-methanol: severe wear of the impeller and guide vanes of the cooling water pump. What are the protective measures?
Imported or domestic? What is the material of the impeller?
Are there any hard impurities in your medium?

It would be better if your question were more comprehensive, including the operating conditions of the water pump and the level of impurities present. It would be helpful to have a few more photos of the equipment: a panoramic view of it, pictures of the impeller inside the pump, and pictures of the impeller when it is not damaged. Thank you!
Check: 1. Is the net positive suction head above the design value?； 2. Check whether the medium contains particles ； 3. Communicate with the manufacturer’s technical staff to determine whether it meets the operating conditions
The quenching water contains coal coke particles, resulting in high hardness due to erosion. Were the flow components made of new ceramic materials? (Does the shaft head often break?)
What material was it originally made of? It is recommended to change the material
