The coupling alignment was adjusted before the entire unit was shipped. Is it necessary to adjust it again after it arrives at the site before starting use? When does this adjustment need to be made if necessary? Please have experienced sea friends reply
After leveling according to the flange surface, the coupling is aligned for the first time; alignment is performed again after sufficient grouting has been applied and fully cured. Avoid the situation where it becomes impossible to find the alignment of the last axis
In principle, it still needs to be adjusted. Specifically, it should be done after the pump as a whole is installed in place and grouting is completed. Use a dial indicator in conjunction with it.
It must be adjusted before testing, to prevent misalignment or uneven alignment during transportation and lifting, which could lead to excessive vibration and noise in the pump.
Axis alignment should be carried out after the anchor bolts are tightened; due to the effects of the conveyor installation process, the coupling must be realigned.
Adjustment is necessary, as the pump can experience alignment changes during transportation due to collisions, tilting, vibrations, or deformation of its base. There are several occasions for proper installation alignment: the first time is before the second grouting after precise alignment; the second time is once the curing period of the second grouting layer is complete, after checking for any voids beneath the base plate surface and dealing with those voids; the third time is after the installation of the inlet and outlet pipes; and the fourth time is after a single test of the motor. Each alignment is done for a specific reason and to carry out inspections; missing one time might not cause any problems, but it could also lead to abnormalities in subsequent operation.
Before starting the machine after the on-site poured grouting is completed, it is necessary to recheck the alignment of the pump.
Alignment is required before driving, and thermal data should be recorded after driving to enable corrections!
It is recommended to make the adjustment during on-site installation! Agree with the opinion on floor 4!
You can check the alignment on-site after the pump is in place.
Recheck of alignment is necessary; according to GB50275, an axis alignment inspection is carried out after the equipment has been precisely leveled. Re-measurement of alignment is still required after the pipeline stress inspection is completed
