When preparing the culture medium, how do you add yeast powder and peptone to the storage tank? We have tried using a pneumatic diaphragm pump, with a tee fitting at the front end connected to both the powder and the bottom of the tank; the solution and powder in the tank are then drawn out and pumped back into the tank. However, this setup also makes it easy for blockages to occur at the tee fitting. . Pouring it in directly through the manhole made the site very dirty. . .
Consider using a feed port from a high position instead of a pump.
A vacuum pump can be used (there are many types, and the appropriate type or size must be chosen depending on the volume). Connect the vacuum pump to the other end of the storage tank; installing a filter at the suction inlet of the vacuum pump, one whose size matches that of the material, will solve the problem.
