When ordering the equipment, is an interface mating flange required?
Under normal circumstances, the mating flanges for the interface are purchased together with the equipment, as part of the equipment supply package; moreover, the flange standards and DN/PN values can be specified according to the requirements of the pipeline welding method. If a company has the capability to manufacture mating flanges on its own, or it can simply purchase them directly. It is the company’s right to decide what to spend money on, what it wants, and what it doesn’t want – it decides for itself
Indicate the flange standard; generally, no matching flanges are provided
If you want it, take it; if not, buy it on your own. But be sure to specify it when placing the order
Here, we usually make separate purchases
You can either bring one randomly or prepare your own; decide based on your circumstances. The most crucial point is to determine the material of the flanges, ensuring that it matches the material of the pipelines, all while respecting the specifications and standards for the paired flanges; this is necessary to facilitate welding and other construction tasks.
If you want it, take it; if not, buy it on your own. Check the supply scope specified in the contract
Since there may be some deviation in the outer diameter when the device’s inlet and outlet are matched with standard flanges, which can result in an unsatisfactory appearance, it is recommended to have them fitted by the manufacturer to save time and effort.
Generally, they come as a set, which is convenient; there’s no need to purchase them separately, saving time and effort
