Are gear pumps suitable for frequent start-up?

Recently, pilot production of a new project began, and since the liquid filling machine is connected only to the storage tank, which is not in use at this stage, liquid filling has become an issue. The preliminary plan is to use the discharge gear pump and flow meter from the kettle to create a filling procedure for ton tanks. The outlet shut-off valve of the gear pump will be disconnected from the existing piping and connected to the ton tank via temporary hoses; there will be no circulation at the pump’s outlet. Each batch will fill 20 ton tanks, requiring the gear pump to be started and stopped 20 times (using frequency conversion at 20 Hz). I would like to know whether this will have a significant impact on the lifespan of the gear pump.
Frequent startup usage will definitely result in a shorter lifespan compared to continuous use. This is especially evident in the poor lubricity of the medium. It is also important to note the application range of gear pumps, including parameters such as the medium, temperature, and pressure.
