During the operation of centrifugal pumps, the ring at the inlet area wears out, resulting in an increased gap. I have checked standards such as API610 and GB3215; these standards only specify a minimum value for the gap, but there is no upper limit specified for the gap after wear. Does anyone among you know of any standards related to this issue? Please share them if you do

By combining various suggestions regarding different clearances and conducting statistical analysis, a standard for the maximum wear clearance value was established: 1.4 times the maximum clearance value specified in the drawings (for the minimum solid state) is taken as the maximum wear clearance value, rounded to two decimal places, which results in a relatively strict standard.
The range of the mouth ring clearance in centrifugal pumps depends on factors such as the medium, temperature, and process requirements. Generally, end users provide these parameters to the pump manufacturer, who will then include them in the accompanying technical documentation. Each manufacturer has different standards! ! The standard version can be found online, but the specific decision still needs to be made based on actual circumstances! !
