Motor energy efficiency issues

Have you all recently undertaken or are currently working on any new projects that require motor efficiency to meet Class 1 standards? It is said that the policy stems from the guiding principles outlined in the State Council’s Action Plan for Air Pollution Control in 2013. How authoritative are these guiding principles?
Just ordered a batch of YE4 motors, class 1 energy efficiency. But now, there are fewer requests for level 1; level 2 and level 3 are still the main ones.
**If the company has specific requirements, then follow them, but it doesn’t make much sense – the motors themselves are already very efficient, so there isn’t much room for improvement. It’s just that these motors are used in large quantities; with clear standards and mandatory requirements, it’s easier to ensure consistency. To save energy, it’s more effective to focus on other aspects. It’s like someone who is angry and irritable all the time – just because they eat so-called organic, pesticide-free foods, that doesn’t mean their health will improve.
Most are level two; **there is no mandatory requirement yet, but it is becoming a trend.
At present, they are mainly call-oriented slogans, and there is a lack of specific guidelines or standardized documents, so their promotion is not yet comprehensive enough.
Many focus on form rather than practicality; motors with energy efficiency ratings of level 1 or 2 may have slightly lower efficiency, while pumps with the same specifications can differ by more than 10%.
