Does this pump have no bearing housing? What's that thick thing on the shaft (it has the bolt on it)?
That is the pump shaft, which is rigidly connected to the motor shaft and has no bearing box.
Horizontal direct-connected centrifugal pumps are similar to ISWs. Different manufacturers have different model names.
Thanks for the answer, does that mean this pump only has motor bearings? No pump bearings?
There is no bearing box, there are bearings at both ends of the motor, and the thick one is a rigid coupling that connects the motor shaft and the pump impeller shaft. There are only 109 or 108 type mechanical seals and impellers at the impeller shaft.
They are just direct-connected horizontal pipeline pumps. The cheaper ones are a few hundred yuan, and the larger ones are several thousand yuan. There is no problem in pumping water, but it is not recommended to use it with corrosive, explosive, or high-risk media.
