During installation, insert a feeler gauge between the impellers, and then install the gears. During the installation of the gears, move the feeler gauge between each contact surface of the impeller to maintain a consistent gap.
This can be resolved easily: install a positioning rod at each inlet and outlet of the Roots blower to keep the horizontal auger gears in a horizontal position. Insert 0.4mm of copper sheet between the two auger gears, and then carry out gear positioning. If one of the gears is adjustable, adjust the two auger gears to be perpendicular to each other before positioning the gears. Finally, rotate the shaft forcefully so that it passes over the 0.4mm copper sheet; the gear meshing should be positioned at the bottom.
