Marine engineers, please analyze whether this pump is under hot conditions, and whether thermal expansion of the inlet pipe is causing the pump to be pressed down
There is thermal expansion, as well as displacement caused by pressure
For the inlet of such equipment, pipe compensation should be provided, something like an expansion joint, along with static alignment connections. If, regarding the photo link, no pipe compensation is visible, there is likely to be a problem. Also, I feel that the frame of this pump is too thin; a low speed is acceptable. Looking suspended.
The inlet and outlet pipelines should both have an impact; adding thermal compensation links to both will yield better results
