There is a loud, sharp whistling sound coming from somewhere between the bearing housing and the seal of the double-support hot oil pump – it’s quite intense! The sealing is a double-end face seal; the sealing oil is in order, the temperature of the bearing housing is normal as well as the vibration level, but there is a whistling sound. We found that the water seal ring of the bearing housing has come loose from it; we suspect there is a problem with the water seal ring Please analyze what the exact reason is…
Is the retaining plate of the mechanical seal loose and rubbing against the shaft sleeve?； This sound can also occur due to abnormalities with the bearing rollers ；
Have seen the same problem, it’s an issue with the water ring!

We have checked this situation. No problem
The gap between the water seal ring and the bearing housing is 0.8–1 mm
Is this hot oil pump centrifugal or magnetic? Is the problem with the water seal related to friction with the shaft?
First, it’s basically confirmed that the source of the whistling sound is friction~~~~ So, there are only a few rotating components in that area that could cause friction~~~~ The water shield ring is the most likely candidate.
Reset the water barrier ring with a flathead screwdriver, and the whistling sound will stop
The positioning pin is loose; stop the machine and tighten it
