There is currently a diaphragm pump in use; the air supply pressure is 4–5 kilograms. It can pump ordinary wastewater normally, but it hardly pumps any liquid when dealing with volatile organic waste liquids. The overall flow path of the waste liquid pumping system is as follows: waste liquid tank (1.2 m high) – pipeline (4 m long) – bag filter – pipeline (1.5 m long) – diaphragm pump – pipeline (6 m long) – storage tank (1 m high); the diameter of the pipelines is DN25. Please discuss and analyze the reasons.
“\"High volatility\" means it is easy to vaporize, right? If the suction pressure at the pump inlet is low, vaporization might be greater,,,,. If the pump inlet pressure can be increased, this problem should be solvable; for reference only.
Could you provide the detailed operating parameters? Detailed medium name, medium temperature, medium specific gravity, etc.
The main component of the medium is dichloromethane; the temperature is room temperature (around 35–40°C), and the density is 1.3 g/cm3.
This parameter is not listed in the manufacturer’s instruction manual
I think there’s a problem with the diaphragm; we can ignore the issue of cavitation margin.
First, prime the pump, then turn it on to see how far the liquid level is from the pump inlet. If it is too far, it is recommended to shorten the distance or fill the inlet before starting the pump.
