How to start the main pump of a long-distance pipeline?

This post was last edited by doloamo on 2021-8-31 at 15:45. The pipeline system is equipped with one fuel pump and three main transfer pumps, all with a flow rate of 2000 and a head of 170 meters. What should be the sequence in which these pumps should be started? It involves opening the outlet valve once the pressure at the oil pump outlet rises, then opening the inlet valve of the first main transfer pump, and subsequently starting up the first main transfer pump. Then, once the pressure increases, open the outlet valve of the first pump, followed by opening the inlet valve of the second main transfer pump and starting the pump?
With such a long pipeline and a pump of such high power, the system isn’t started in this way
