There are requirements regarding the distance between couplings of each pump; if the distance is too small, it will be impossible to remove them. You can check the technical documentation to see what the required spacing for the couplings is, and adjust it accordingly!

If the shaft spacing is too small, and the motor uses bearing shells, consider whether it will not be on the magnetic center line after the motor stops running
