I have a question: since a foot valve is installed at the suction inlet of the centrifugal pump, is it necessary to install a check valve at the outlet as well? Flow rate: 200 m3/s, head: 28 m, power: 22 kW
Without this valve, it’s unclear how the suction pipe and pump body can be filled with water; and without water filling, it’s impossible to meet its operating conditions. For reference.
