National standard for energy efficiency of centrifugal pumps released June 18, 2025. Recently, the **State Administration for Market Regulation** and the **Standardization Administration Committee** issued standard GB 19762—2025 \"Energy efficiency limits and grades for centrifugal pumps\", which will come into effect on March 1, 2026. As an important technical specification in the field of centrifugal pump energy efficiency, this standard defines the energy efficiency grades, limit values, as well as the calculation and testing methods for clean water centrifugal pumps and petrochemical centrifugal pumps. It applies to mainstream types of centrifugal pumps such as single-stage single-suction/double-suction pumps and multi-stage pumps. This standard is a second revision, and it will replace GB 19762–2007 “Minimum energy efficiency requirements and energy-saving evaluation values for clean water centrifugal pumps” and GB 32284–2015 “Minimum energy efficiency requirements and energy efficiency grades for centrifugal pumps used in petrochemical industries”. Its purpose is to phase out inefficient production capacities, guide the industry toward a green and low-carbon transition, help enterprises optimize product design and reduce energy consumption costs, and provide technical support for the industry in achieving its “dual carbon” goals. It is understood that Jiahe Technology was involved in the revision of this standard. The company has been actively involved in drafting over **a dozen standards**, and it drives product research and development innovation by strictly adhering to the **latest standards**, thereby continuously improving the energy efficiency of its products.
Is a centrifugal slurry pump suitable for this specification?
