Replies will be rewarded; discussions are welcome------------------------------------------- Recently, China’s first standardized gas storage facility that integrates wells and stations – the Lujuhe Gas Storage Facility – was put into operation at the Sinopec Dagang Oilfield. The Lujiuhe Gas Storage Facility is a **key energy project and a major natural gas infrastructure project in Tianjin. It is also one of the first gas reservoir-based storage facilities in China to be built and operated using fully digital technologies, and it serves as a supporting storage facility for the Shaanxi-Beijing Pipeline Lines 2 and 3. The Lujiuhe Gas Storage Facility is the 11th gas storage facility in the Dagang Oilfield’s underground gas storage network. It is a modern gas storage facility that integrates well stations into one unit, features digitalized operations, adopts green and low-carbon practices, and has a streamlined management structure. Faced with challenges such as a shortage of land for construction, complex processing technologies, and foreign technological blockades, Dagang Oilfield made scientific decisions by adopting for the first time a new construction model that integrated injection and production wells with gathering stations. It also developed creatively the \"Standardized Technical Specifications for Surface Engineering of Reservoir-Type Underground Gas Storage Facilities\" and the \"Standardized Design Drawings for Reservoir-Type Gas Storage Facilities,\" thus establishing new standards for the construction of surface facilities for integrated reservoir-type gas storage facilities in China. The Lujiu River gas storage facility is located in the core area of the salt pan ponds. It is the first gas storage facility in China to be constructed entirely within water bodies. During its construction, the entire area was enclosed with barriers and covered, ensuring zero pollution in this sensitive construction zone. To achieve low-carbon operation, this gas storage facility features compressor noise reduction, zero discharge of oil and wastewater, as well as sorted recycling of domestic waste. The Dagang Oilfield seizes the new opportunities brought about by digital technology advancements, and adopts digital delivery and smart management approaches in the construction and operation of the Lujuhe gas storage facility, thereby achieving integrated and intelligent oversight of all wells and stations. The official commissioning of the Lujiuhe gas storage facility is of great practical significance for optimizing the energy structure in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and meeting the demand for peak gas usage during winter.
