Shanxi Coking Coal Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Shanjiao Group Company") was established in 1969. It is a comprehensive coal utilization enterprise integrating coal coking production, sales and technical services. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanxi Coking Coal Group and is located in Shanxi Hongdong Economic and Technological Development Zone. There are currently 6 JN60 coke ovens with a designed production capacity of 3.24 million tons/year (of which 2.7 million tons/year is included in the emission permit management). It is equipped with 300,000 tons/year coal tar processing, 320,000 tons/year coke oven gas to methanol, 100,000 tons/year benzene refining, etc. It mainly produces 45 products such as coke, anhydrous sulfate, industrial naphthalene, asphalt, anthracene oil, wash oil, phenols, carbon black, methanol, and benzene. Shanxi Coking Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Shanjiao Co., Ltd.") is the core subsidiary of Shanxi Coking Group Co., Ltd. Shanxi Coking Group Co., Ltd.'s coking and coking by-product processing projects are operated by Shanxi Coking Co., Ltd. At present, Shanjiao Group Company has formed a cyclic coal chemical industry chain mainly consisting of "coal, washing, coke, coke by-products, tar deep processing, refined products, crude benzene refining, etc." Shanjiao Group Company uses the 960,000 tons of coking production capacity of Shanxi Sanwei Ruide Coking Co., Ltd. and the 480,000 tons of coking production capacity of Shanxi Luhe Group Yuanzhong Coking Co., Ltd. acquired through the property rights exchange market to build a 1.44 million tons/year top-loading coking upgrade project with a carbonization chamber height of 7.0 meters in the Hongdong Economic and Technological Development Zone. On December 29, 2020, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology filed the project with the project code: 2012-140000-89-02-426089. The total investment of the project is 3,037,585,500 yuan, covering a total area of 679.39 acres. Main construction content The construction content mainly includes main projects such as coal preparation, coke processing, coking, coke quenching, and gas purification, as well as supporting construction of public auxiliary systems and environmental protection projects. The YJL7050-1 reheating top-loading coke oven is selected as the coke oven type. The height of the carbonization chamber is 7.0m. The furnace group size is 2×61 holes. It is equipped with a 2×140t/h dry quenching device and waste heat power generation. It all adopts dry quenching, gas purification system, assisted living facilities, sewage treatment system, circulating water system, refrigeration station, air compressor station, dust removal station, coke oven flue gas desulfurization and denitrification, transformation and distribution room, etc. Coke oven gas is used to prepare LNG and high-purity hydrogen.
