Everyone should pay attention to safety and know how to handle emergencies. ********************************************* On May 30, 2020, the 100,000 Nm3/h natural gas hydrogen production facility at Sinopec Tianjin Petrochemical was handed over. According to the available information, this project is the largest of its kind in China in terms of hydrogen production capacity, featuring domestic technology and design. Previously, in October 2018, Sinopec Tianjin Petrochemical’s 100,000 Nm3/h natural gas-based hydrogen production project entered the construction phase. This project utilizes the low-energy steam reforming hydrogen production technology developed by Sinopec Luoyang Engineering Company, breaking the monopoly of foreign technologies on large-scale hydrogen production processes. Its goal is to achieve the first industrial application of a large-scale hydrogen production process with independent intellectual property rights, thereby providing a solution for maintaining hydrogen balance in order to support the green and clean production practices as well as the improvement of oil product quality at Tianjin Petrochemical.
