On November 20, the Management Committee of Chifeng High-Tech Industrial Development Zone issued a public notice to initiate the review process for the environmental impact assessment document related to the air separation project as part of the Phase II project of Chifeng Guanggang Gas Co., Ltd. This project is a new industrial gas production facility, located in the Dongshan Industrial Park in Yuanbaoshan District, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. The total investment amount is 329.78 million yuan, and the site covers an area of approximately 39,907.36 square meters. Of this, the investment in environmental protection amounts to 500,000 yuan, accounting for 0.15% of the total investment. The main construction content of the project is to build a new air separation unit with a capacity of 44,000 Nm³/h, including the main plant building and the outdoor equipment area. Once the project is put into operation, it will enable large-scale production of gas products. The main products include oxygen (44,000 Nm³/h) and nitrogen (61,200 Nm³/h), as well as various industrial and specialty gases such as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, purified liquid oxygen, and krypton-xenon mixtures. The project simultaneously develops supporting facilities such as storage and transportation, auxiliary systems, public utilities, and environmental protection measures, to ensure that production operations and environmental protection progress in coordination.
