On April 9, a signing ceremony took place between the Panji Economic Development Zone (North Area) and Anhui Jinyi New Material Technology Co., Ltd. regarding its PMMA new material production project. This marks a solid step taken by Panji District toward the high-end and green development of the new materials industry. It also represents another significant achievement in targeted investment attraction, injecting strong momentum into the regional industrial transformation and upgrading. The two sides had in-depth discussions on matters such as project cooperation details, construction progress, and capacity planning, reaching broad consensus. It is reported that the total investment planned for this project is 350 million yuan, of which 300 million yuan will be invested in fixed assets. Once operational, it is expected to generate an annual output value of over 200 million yuan, as well as an annual tax revenue of more than 300,000 yuan per mu. Leveraging advanced production technologies, the project will establish a PMMA new material production base that integrates R&D, manufacturing, and sales. It will not only meet the demand for high-end PMMA products in the local market and those in the surrounding areas of northern Anhui but also serve the East China region, facilitating the aggregation of upstream and downstream industries. This will further optimize the regional industrial structure, enhance the competitiveness of Panji District’s new material industry, and provide strong support for the high-quality development of the local economy.
