What is the typical current requirement for an electrodialysis tank? Our device is set at 110A, and it won’t go any lower. What method should be used?

It has a lot to do with the properties of the crude oil; if everything else is normal, then it’s not a problem. We’ll observe again when we switch to another type of raw material
It’s not a fixed value; other factors need to be taken into account! But you can raise the water level and see what happens!
So how high can the maximum current be?
It’s not absolute either; ours will trip at 300, but some devices might trip at 200. You can figure out a value through trial and error to determine the critical point.

Our trip at 280 is mainly related to the properties of the crude oil and the pressure difference resulting from the mixing after water injection.
Your current level isn’t very high; there are several ways to reduce it. Check the level of the desalination tank; adjust the transformer voltage level. Examine the thickness of the emulsion layer in the crude oil – if emulsification is severe, replace the demulsifier or adjust the mixing pressure difference. Use metal-removing agents to eliminate heavy metals from the crude oil
