The primary fan of the circulating fluidized bed boiler is making a humming sound; no abnormalities were found upon inspection, and the fan itself is operating normally. It’s not clear what the cause is – how should this be dealt with?
Is it because the layer is too thick to be blown away, or are there foreign objects in the layer?
If it comes from the fan itself, it is suspected that the fan is experiencing surge, meaning the fan has a hump-shaped performance curve and operates in an unstable region during operation
