May I ask, why is there still a signal sent back to the I/O module when drawing a circuit diagram for an electric actuator valve? Shouldn’t it be the I/O module that provides a current signal directly to the electric actuator valve? Is a pneumatic actuator valve (with electric/pneumatic valve positioner) needed?
True valve position information is required to determine whether the valve is indeed fully open/closed.
