After graduating, I have been working in a technical role at a secondary unit of SINOPEC in Beijing for six years now... After much thought, I have finally decided to say goodbye and take on a job in a private company working on projects. I’m not entirely sure about this decision, but I’ve had enough of working in state-owned enterprises; the so-called technical work there is pretty mediocre, and the atmosphere there is suffocating, like a frog being boiled in warm water……
Take the opportunity to travel and gain experience while you’re young, so as not to regret it in the future； OP, keep it up!
To put it simply, it’s still a matter of income. . .
The comment upstairs is spot-on. There are usually two reasons why technicians quit their jobs: either the salary is too low or they’re not satisfied with their work
State-owned enterprises are stable; regardless of whether they make much or little profit, there are no concerns. Private enterprises may earn more money, but they are unstable and bring a lot of psychological stress. I just came from a state-owned enterprise as well, and I have many insights
Had the same experience as the original poster, but don’t have as much experience or as strong skills as them :(

In the workplace, one goes through state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, and foreign companies; in the end, for the sake of freedom, one chooses the option that suits them best.
The world outside is vast; one should go and see it； It took 5 years for a central state-owned enterprise to turn into a private one, and 2 years to go through that process.
