The fire suppression system used in our unit, which is based on the Gulf technology, has been triggering alarms due to the detection of ultraviolet flames; after a while it returns to normal, yet there is no actual flame present. What can be done to resolve this issue? Also, does anyone have the wiring rules for the Gulf encoder? Could you give me one?
I’m not sure, but the devices used for flame detection usually have mechanisms for adjusting sensitivity. The ones used in our company are from a company based in Shanghai; there are components for short-circuiting that are used to adjust sensitivity. A local agent there is extremely dishonest; something that could have been resolved with just a few words required him to go to the site in order to fix it, charging 1000 yuan for it.
