Does a newly purchased meter need to be calibrated at the local quality supervision bureau? (New tables all come with certificates of conformity.)

In accordance with the requirements of measurement management (traceability of measurement values), measuring instruments must be calibrated before use, as well as during use (at regular intervals) and after repair. Calibration does not have to be carried out at the quality supervision bureau; any institution with the appropriate qualifications for calibration can do it. There are many calibration companies available these days.
It also depends on the nature of the new watch you purchase; pressure gauges used for safety purposes and subject to strict inspection requirements must be calibrated by a quality control department, right?

Pressure gauges need to be calibrated twice a year, and the cost of calibration is 300 yuan each time; this is much more expensive than buying a new gauge. If new gauges don’t require calibration, it’s more cost-effective to just purchase new ones.
New tables also need to be calibrated; a certificate of conformity cannot replace a calibration certificate.

According to the Metrology Law, measuring instruments subject to mandatory inspection must be calibrated. This calibration is carried out by calibration institutions qualified for such tasks; it does not have to be a testing facility affiliated with the technical supervision department. If you have established relevant standards and obtained authorization from the technical supervision department for conducting mandatory inspections, you can carry out these inspections on your own.
Apart from mandatory inspections, how many companies actually carry out inspections thoroughly? You know what I mean:D
