As the title suggests, a new configuration for the inverter feedback current has been set up in the DCS, but the value displayed does not match the value measured on site. What could be the reasons for this?

After digital-to-analog conversion by the inverter and analog-to-digital conversion by the DCS, there is definitely some conversion error. 2. Have you added an isolator in the circuit? The frequency converter generates severe electromagnetic interference, and the unequal potential on both sides can lead to errors. 3. Minor error: the measurement ranges on both sides are inconsistent.
Is there a problem with the range setting of the DCS? Is the output range of the frequency converter consistent with that of the DCS? You can use a multimeter to measure the current output by the frequency converter and check whether it is correct; then use a loop calibrator to send a 4–20mA signal for testing: lol
To ensure better compatibility, the output of inverters may use different signal specifications for various output connections (4-20mA, 0-20mA, 1-5V, etc.). Check whether there are any issues with the wiring, verify that the measurement ranges on both sides are identical, and if that doesn’t work, try using isolators on both sides.
For this, what brand of inverter? Schneider?
If there is conversion error, can using an isolator solve it?

It’s very likely that there’s an issue with the range setting; also, it depends on whether your conversion program is called directly or written by you yourself~!
