No standard was seen. Using one switch for two motors does pose a significant risk; perhaps your technical staff have already taken safety considerations into account, opting for a simpler and more convenient solution. I suggest you talk to the relevant technical staff; you will gain something different from it.
Hello, a new repair worker here was trying to access the power cable (which had already been wrapped with insulating tape). He suffered an electric shock while removing the insulating tape. The injured worker believed that since the power cable was wrapped up, the power switch must not have been turned off. (Perhaps this description is a bit lengthy; the injured person thought that since a motor has a power control device, and the cable was wrapped up, there surely couldn’t be any electricity flowing.) ) On my end, two motors share one control switch, and the wiring indicates which motor is in use.
This is not a lighting fixture; there’s no switch to control two motors, unless it’s required by the manufacturing process. The two smaller ones function as one larger one.
It’s not required by the process; is such a connection method incorrect? The electrician connected it that way to save trouble; how can I use the relevant regulations to convince him that this approach is incorrect?
Motors and switches are also described in a rather general way; let’s take a look at how motors are controlled. This is different from light bulbs; ; ; ; Buttons, circuit breakers, relays, thermal relays, fuses, and grounding wires – these are necessary to control motors. In my opinion, it should not be determined by standards, but rather depend on the requirements of the process and control. Sometimes a switch may be needed to control multiple motors.

It clearly does not meet the requirements of JGJ46-2005; the four principles of one box, one machine, one switch, and one leakage protector must be followed!
This is a temporary power usage system, but I’m not using power temporarily
