For example, for a valve with a capacity of 40 kilograms, the integrity of its pressure boundary means that the valve can still open and close properly when the pressure reaches 60 kilograms, and its sealing performance should still be at level V when the pressure reaches 44 kilograms.
Where do these numbers, 60 44, come from? Is there any standard regulation for such a statement?
This is the **standard for inspecting and testing valves; the pressure testing standard for the valve body requires it to withstand 1.5 times the design pressure, while the sealing surfaces must be able to handle 1.1 times that pressure. But it does not represent the ultimate pressure tolerance range.
