Problems with channel steel for pipe supports?

I’m seeking advice from fellow forum members: regarding the selection of pipe supports, if channel steel is used instead of angle steel that requires diagonal bracing, how should the size of the channel steel be determined based on the pipe diameter? Is there any material available? Generally, what specifications should people refer to in order to choose something directly? No calculations are needed; it just depends on the pipe diameter.

Channel steel of the same width replaces angle steel
It seems that for pipe supports, square tubes are better; using channel steel is more expensive and also looks ugly. Also don’t know how to calculate it
For example, for a steel pipe with a diameter of 426, if triangular supports are not used, what type of channel steel support can be used?
