Our factory’s exhaust incinerators have three air supply lines, but each line is equipped only with a flow control valve; there are no upstream or downstream valves nor any auxiliary lines. Is this also the design used in your factories? Should a manual valve and a bypass line be added?
Generally, a double track is not required; there is only the main track, with no alternative track.
All of our sulfur exhaust incinerators have only one air supply path in front of the furnace. The absence of a secondary line is usually due to an excessively large pipe diameter, or insufficient space to accommodate it. However, all control valves without auxiliary lines are equipped with handwheels. We maintain the oxygen content in normal flue gas at around 3%, which means that about half of the air is in excess.
Ours features three-way air control; the air supply in front of the furnace is mainly used to support gas combustion; The air distribution in the middle of the furnace is primarily used to control sulfur combustion ; The three air distribution circuits at the rear of the furnace are primarily used to control the steam temperature in the exhaust superheater.
On our three-way air lines, there are only control valves; if those fail, things get difficult. There aren’t even manual valves, so it’s not possible to shut off the flow.
