Are there any requirements for the metering tank?

In production, it is required that the raw materials transported from the storage tanks to the workshops be measured. Using flow meters is too expensive, as each workshop has its own small storage tanks for raw materials. I was wondering if it would be possible to use radar to measure the liquid level for this purpose; however, radar devices seem to require high precision as well, and they aren’t cheap either, right?
Since it’s not possible to measure it with a flow meter, one has to guess a number
It’s better to use a small tank or a flow meter; a complete set of level gauges is neither simple nor inexpensive
A weighing scale can also be used; it offers high measurement accuracy, but it is more expensive than a flow meter. . How about installing a level switch? Install a fork-type level switch on the raw material tank in the workshop; the pump will stop automatically once the desired liquid level is reached.
Measurement is necessary, and a flow meter must be used for this purpose; if other methods are employed, they can only serve as a reference, as they are not accurate
Our workshop supervisor wants flow meters with a precision of one in a thousand, and they also need to be cheap. Where am I supposed to find such things?
You need to specify exactly what is being measured, how much needs to be measured each time, what the conditions of delivery are (fluctuating amounts), whether mass or volume is sufficient, and how often it needs to be measured on a daily basis – only then can targeted suggestions be provided.

The boss won’t even buy flow meters that cost tens of thousands; we’re currently using turbines that cost 5,000 each and have a precision of 1.0. What you’re suggesting sounds extremely expensive – I don’t even see the need to report it anymore
Don’t differential pressure flowmeters come with temperature and pressure compensation? Does temperature and pressure compensation have a significant impact on the measurement results?
