In general, if the weld seams inside a container have been polished, the weld seams and the base material are fused together, making it impossible to determine where the joint is. Upon inspecting one tank, fine connection seams, similar to tiny cracks, were found on both sides of the ground weld joint and the base metal. The weld width is approximately 2 centimeters, with the base material being S30403. I would like to ask the experts: is there any problem with such a weld joint?
Is it enough to just treat the cracks on the surface? This thing usually doesn’t behave like this. I haven’t encountered this in all my time working with equipment
Further inspection should be carried out to determine the nature of the crack, and appropriate measures should be taken.
There must be a problem; it could be an issue with the welding quality, or it might be related to the choice of welding rod.
It’s not necessarily a crack; it could be that the weld metal wasn’t filled properly, and inadequate grinding resulted in something that looks like a crack. However, this situation generally occurs in welds without bevels

Welds with defects certainly pose risks in use; for safety reasons, it is recommended to use them only after they have been deemed qualified
