As the title suggests, what type of flow meter is used for measuring the flow rate of the residue oil fed into your delayed coking unit? Is it accurate? We are using an ultrasonic flowmeter. Due to the large variations in the density of residue oil, we set the density value to 1; this is used only to display the square value, but it still doesn’t seem accurate. We propose replacing it with a mass flowmeter, but it’s difficult to choose the right one. What kind of flowmeter do you use in your system?
