What parameters for the pump? What is the outlet pressure?
By providing the medium and operating conditions, as well as the pump’s head pressure, it is possible to determine whether flashing occurs inside the orifice, which can lead to cavitation and pipe vibration
Do the math – just replace the orifice plate and that’s it!
The pressure drop across the orifice plate is too high; the liquid flashes after passing through it, and the pipeline is likely to vibrate. Adjusting the minimum flow rate with an orifice plate is a rough adjustment method, and it has poor adaptability to varying operating conditions. It can be adjusted using a control valve or a mechanical minimum flow protection valve.
The hole punch bit is too large, resulting in excessive backflow and causing pump vibration. If there are valves before and after the orifice plate, close them slightly; if not, replace it with an orifice plate with smaller holes to control the minimum backflow rate.
