I no longer need another account that was registered three years ago; how can I delete it?

I recently saw announcements about preventing account theft, and it says that one still has to bear legal responsibility for the statements made after their account is stolen; I’m a bit scared:funk:. That’s why I thought about the old account I registered before this one, and I want to close it down! How to operate it? Note: The original account also posted posts; it is now in the second grade.
There’s no need to panic; those that were stolen had passwords that were too simple. You can set your login security question in \"Settings\"--\"Password Security\", and at the same time change your password to be more complex, such as a combination of numbers and letters (both uppercase and lowercase).
Use a more secure password, or add a security question, and there will be no problem
