My own understanding is that I’ll share it with everyone. First, the value of the certification exam remains significant; we must believe in this and not focus too much on the costs associated with obtaining it. Once you have the certificate, you’ll have the freedom to utilize its benefits. Second, there are some rumors going around, and those who seek chaos or those who are always looking for reasons to criticize others will use such statements to attack those who strive to improve themselves. Perhaps they’re envious because they can’t achieve what others have achieved; only by trying it themselves can they know whether it’s sweet or sour. Third, we need to stay focused on improving ourselves and strengthening our skills.
I completely agree with your view. First and foremost, it is necessary to clarify the significance of taking these exams; given the increasingly strict oversight, the market for using others’ qualifications to pass these exams will ultimately shrink significantly; It is of primary importance to stay committed to one’s position and improve technical skills. Secondly, the certification exam will definitely not be canceled; it’s just a matter of when it will take place. Until official announcements are made, it’s best to remain calm and patient.
Three people can create a false story; rumors manipulate people’s minds, waiting patiently like wolves!
It doesn’t matter what others say; we can’t accuse them of having ulterior motives, and certainly not claim that it’s foreign hostile forces at work. People have different opinions; it’s still necessary to learn*, there’s still a lot that needs to be learned for work. Just don’t let others influence you; opportunities are meant for those who are prepared.
I was actually quite conflicted too. Back then, I thought the results would be different after taking the exam, but in reality there was no change at all. The certificate remained with my employer, and I didn’t get a single penny. Although I did go through a relatively systematic review of chemical engineering principles during my studies, I couldn’t apply that knowledge much in actual design work. To be honest, it’s just a matter of mindset.
There should be some added value, like salary increases and promotions
Judging from the actual situation, there really isn’t any.
My foundation is weak, different from yours; I feel that these days of preparation have helped me understand many things and acquire a lot of knowledge. I haven’t met the required duration of study yet, but I just want to experience the atmosphere of taking an exam. I’m in a small courtyard, so it feels like there’s so much to learn, and setting exams as a goal to force myself to keep studying* is actually quite good
Everyone needs positive energy to motivate them to move forward
Similarly, by studying carefully, one can indeed learn a lot
When we have time, we should all learn more – after all, no pain, no gain.
