I would like to ask fellow sailors: do all the three-phase frequency converters available on the market these days not have a function for detecting missing phases in the input power supply? Moreover, for domestic frequency converters, it’s sufficient to boost the single-phase 220VAC to 380VAC and connect it to the frequency converter in order to use it with a reduced capacity Was there no report of a missing phase in the power supply or any other faults at all? That won’t happen; this is one of the most basic functions of an inverter – it can detect issues such as phase loss, overvoltage, and overcurrent. If you say that the inverter you’re using doesn’t have these functions, then I can only say that it’s not really an inverter at all. Today, foreign brands like ABB, Siemens, and Schneider, as well as domestic brands such as Yaskawa, Inovance, Times, and Sanken, can all meet your needs, offering a good balance between performance and price. If you still want to pursue a path that involves lower costs at the risk of reduced performance, then thank you for helping smaller domestic manufacturers test the performance of their new products through your own engineering experiences. We work in engineering, and we need to consider the balance between performance and price. Foreign brands are expensive, but their performance is reliable. Many domestic brands also offer dependable performance at lower prices. However, when it comes to products with even lower prices, one needs to be cautious – as you said, they often lack even the most basic detection functions.
