Our facility is new, and before starting work the company organized a visit for us to a Sinopec company. We were told that we need to learn both the internal and external operations; I want to know where we should focus our attention.
Today’s masters don’t teach much; one has to take the initiative to learn on their own.
Where are you from? Which Sinopec company should I go to? It mainly focuses on process flows and control parameters. But I majored in instrument maintenance.
Internal operations are crucial; external operations may not quite match your on-site process flow
Learn them all; the internal exercises are somewhat theoretical, but they’re easier to understand when combined with the external exercises
The DCS controls the on/off status of valves for internal operations, while manual operation is used to control the on/off status of valves for external operations. The operator studies how to operate valves. When should that valve be moved? This field of study is very extensive. Figure it out on your own and ask for advice.
It mainly involves going to the site to get familiar with the pipelines and equipment, and then learning the operational procedures to master the control principles, etc~~

One has to figure things out on their own! Be more diligent, visit the site more often, and ask why more often
I will take the initiative to learn more on my own and consult the mentors more often.
