There is a reset button in the interlock logic; would pressing this reset button when no interlock has occurred have any effect?
I can’t answer that for you; without a specific chain of logic, it’s impossible to determine the consequences of resetting. To figure that out, one needs a chain-of-logic diagram as well as the actual program. Generally speaking, pressing the reset button under normal conditions should not cause any problems.
This reset button is usually connected to an RS flip-flop; since the interlock has not been triggered, the RS flip-flop must be in its reset state. Pressing it again certainly won’t cause any change
