Has any of the brothers worked on the overall purging of the equipment? I would like to ask how to purge the reflux tank, including the pipelines and instrument connections on it. Everyone, please help. Waiting online
The instrument interfaces and pipelines are generally purged together during the purging of the production workshop. Once the material removal in the process workshop is completed, the instrument workshop will be notified to purge the instrument interfaces later in the purging process. When performing maintenance or tank cleaning, it is necessary to test the pressure transmission systems associated with the instruments.
During pipeline purging, some instruments, such as solenoid valves, need to be removed and short-circuited
For pipeline purging, the pressure gauge’s root valve must be closed; For temperature, generally there’s no need to worry about the protective sleeve; it can be blown away together with the rest ; For pipelines, it is generally necessary to remove them and attach short pipes; the same applies to the automatic valves on the instruments – they need to be removed as well, with short pipes attached to allow purging through the main pipeline.
It is necessary to determine that the tank itself has been thoroughly purged before opening the instrument valves for venting.
The flow meter and valve need to be removed and replaced with a bypass. The pressure tapping valve is closed; no action is needed regarding the temperature if there is a casing in place.
The reflux tank is purged together with the tower; generally, the design pressures of these two components are similar. The pipelines connected to the tank can be used to purge air into the tank, taking care to consider the pressure tolerance of the tank itself, and the instrument connections should be disconnected for purging purposes
All the points related to the instruments must be completely isolated; control valves need to be removed and replaced with blind flanges or shorted out.
