Dear sea friends, what is an appropriate buffer time for the fuel gas buffer tank in a heating furnace? Is there any specific source for this information? Thank you!
This post was last edited by ylb913 on 2015-7-9 at 11:50. In reality, its purpose is mainly to separate liquids, or to prevent fuel gas from suddenly containing liquid droplets; its buffering effect is very limited.
There is no specific requirement for this time; a pressure value is set based on the operating pressure of the buffer tank, so as to ensure that the fuel gas entering the furnace is not affected by fluctuations in the fuel gas pipeline network, which could otherwise cause variations in the furnace temperature. The main purpose is to provide buffering. It is important to keep the control valve for the fuel gas entering the buffer tank stable; if there are large fluctuations, then the buffering effect will be minimal
Personally, I think 15 minutes is enough.
