Hello everyone. I would like to ask about the performance of oxygen meters used in the production of acid from pyrite. I’m currently using a domestic model, but its performance is not ideal – the zirconium element in it has a short lifespan, it breaks down easily, and its accuracy is low. I’d like to know which brands of oxygen meters have a longer lifespan and require less maintenance. Thank you
During the acid production process from pyrite, the concentration of acidic oxides in the flue gas is very high, and zirconium components are affected to varying degrees. Both domestic and imported zirconium tips are affected, but due to the different technical expertise employed by various manufacturers in terms of material and manufacturing processes, there are certainly differences in their performance and lifespan. But no one can simply determine which product is definitely good. You can purchase products from several different companies for comparison, conduct some research and evaluation, and provide guidance for those who will use them in the future.

Keep the operating parameters and raw material specifications of the large furnace under control; operations can be carried out just as usual even without an oxygen meter. We also used an oxygen meter in our second system in the past, but due to the high cost of zirconium components, it was used only for a year or two. Feel free to communicate if needed.
