Hello everyone. I plan to apply for the title of intermediate engineer next year. I have just published a paper, and it seems I contacted an intermediary. I wrote around 3,300 words; they said it needs to be formatted in two sections, with 1,300 words per section. They mentioned that the review was successful and asked me to pay, or else I could reduce the word count to one section. What I mainly want to know is whether this journal is considered a core journal? Are there any issues with evaluating for the intermediate level? The price? I’m still hesitating; it’s more expensive than other journals. Urgent! Waiting for a reply online

I asked a colleague to find someone local to publish it on some platform related to technology and wealth; it doesn’t matter where it’s published, as long as it meets the requirements for getting reviews
First of all, I’m not sure what level of journal is required for obtaining an intermediate rating where you are, but one thing is clear: the price is indeed very high. It might be possible to get a significant discount by forming a group with others. Look around and ask around as well.
Well, it’s said that submitting to a municipal-level publication is sufficient. The person I’m in touch with at the local personnel office is also responsible for handling professional title evaluations; the criteria for evaluation include publishing papers. A payment of 300 yuan is given upfront, and another 300 yuan is paid if the paper is published. I’m waiting for news now. In the remaining time, I plan to take an exam in computer skills. There’s no requirement to take an exam in professional English here; I’m not sure if it’s necessary when applying for a senior title. An intermediate title doesn’t require English either, so I think a senior title probably doesn’t require it either. Haha, just kidding ;P
