Newbie question: I need to model a toluene extraction process. Which ASPEN module should be used for the extraction column? How should the binary interaction parameters be modified in the Unifac property method? Why can’t negative pressures be specified for the top and bottom of the solvent recovery column? How is the amount of lean solvent to be sent to the regeneration column determined?
If negative pressure cannot be input, it’s definitely your unit that’s wrong.
