Coal-to-oil production adheres to the principle of acting in accordance with available water resources, and demonstration projects are carried out only when water use permits are available； Adhere to the strictest environmental protection standards; model projects shall implement the strictest current environmental protection standards in the energy and chemical industries, or even higher environmental requirements. It was also proposed that new demonstration projects should meet the following technical criteria: for coal-to-oil demonstration projects (Fischer-Tropsch route), the energy efficiency should be ≥42%, the coal consumption per ton of oil produced should be ≤3.7 tons of standard coal, and the fresh water usage should be ≤7 tons. The strictness of this indicator, especially regarding water consumption, is indeed extremely challenging
May I ask how energy efficiency is calculated? There’s a lot that can be done in this regard. The coal consumption is less than one digit; it’s an error. It should be: carbon utilization rate as an evaluation indicator. China has set some indicators, with spaces left for drilling! !
