Does the steam partial pressure tank store steam after depressurization or before depressurization?

I need to install 3 sets of steam (saturated steam) pressure reduction tanks here. The main steam pipeline has a pressure of 1.4 MPa, while the three branch pipelines are set to pressures of 0.6 MPa, 0.6 MPa, and 1.2 MPa respectively. Should the pressure reducing valves for these three branch pipelines be installed on the inlet pipes or the outlet pipes of the pressure reduction tanks? In other words, should the pressure reduction take place before the steam enters the pressure reduction tanks or after it enters? How is the volume of a pressure dividing tank determined?
One of the circuit requirements is 1.2 Mpa; therefore, the pressure can only be 1.4 Mpa in the tank, with pressure relief valves installed at the three branch circuits
A pressure dividing tank is installed in each branch; should the pressure relief valve be placed on the intake pipe or the exhaust pipe?
If there is an independent buffer tank, it should be installed in front of the tank. Since the pressure relief valve has a flow-limiting function, installing it behind the tank will reduce the buffering effect of the tank
